In 1996, the Dolly team was cloned by scientists from China to successfully clone two monkeys for the first time in history.
The two well known Zon Zun and Hua Hua names, which are almost identical to each other, were born in a Chinese laboratory a few weeks ago, the media reported.
Scientists say it is possible to treat primate genetic predisposed genetically to treat the diseases that people have. They point out that they can be studied using genital-based monkeys, such as cancer, metabolism, and immunodeficiency diseases.
But critics say the outcome will lead to debatable 'human cloning'.
However, Chinese scientists say that, in the coming months, more cloning monkeys will be produced.
